From marketplace to intelligence: A story of finding product-market fit.
We launched as a "Rent-a-Shelf" marketplace, scaling to 45 stores. However, we discovered that the rental model didn't solve the core data problem. We were solving for space, when we needed to solve for insight.
We realized the shelf itself was a data point. We pivoted to build a real-time market intelligence platform. Traction followed immediately: 1,000 listed products and 50 active users validated our new direction.
With AI models achieving 92.2% accuracy, we are now deploying V2. ThirdRetail is becoming the standard for shelf execution data, processing thousands of shelf scans to optimize retail globally.
